Greg was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, his aviation career spans 46 years with companies such as FedEx Memphis TN, TNT Aviation Group Sydney AU, Airnet Columbus OH and Emery Worldwide, Dayton OH.

Greg retired in 2016 and founded The Canadian Drone Institute. During his 46 year aviation career Greg accumulated over 8,000 hours of flight time in Canada and The United States

Greg is a current RPAS Task Force (Ottawa) RTMAT Committee Member tasked with developing the Transport Canada Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) initiative in Canada.

Greg is a Transport Canada retired Senior Commercial Pilot and former Transport Canada Commercial Ground School Instructor Class 2, with a Class 1 Instrument Flight Rating in both Canada and the United States

Greg is leading the The Canadian Drone Institutes Corporate Flight Department training initiative in Canada and The United States. He resides in Kingston, Ontario
