In 1962, Ed McCrudden and Hugh Anderson hence “EDSON” were commissioned to manufacture a carton packer to assist in the packaging process. That one machine lead to what Edson is today. Edson’s first case packer was manufactured for a candy manufacturer in 1964 and Edson received their first patent in 1966. From the humble beginnings in Ed McCrudden’s garage; to having machinery in nearly all North American tissue mills today, Edson continues to build on the foundation started by Mr. McCrudden. Edson’s machinery is known for performance and reliability in the markets it serves. Machinery that was built in very early 1970 are is still in service today.

Today Edson manufactures case and tray packing systems with unrivaled expertise in handling delicate tissue and paper-based products while maintaining high levels of packing performance.
