Bamford Produce
The Bamford family is one of the oldest family businesses in Canada dating all the way back to 1881; now 141 years of tradition in the year 2022.

James Bamford and Sons were located for many years at the St. Lawrence Market until it moved off site back in the late 1970s. Bamford family currently has its 4th generation helping to oversee the businesses.

In 2003, the family acquired a single stall at the Ontario Food Terminal and has since expanded to three stalls. The Bamford family is uniquely positioned to service wholesalers, retailers, and the foodservice industry.

Today we are made up of multiple companies that allow strategic vertical integration that helps maximize efficiencies and offer all customers a very unique and diversified model. These include farming, growing, and packing operations in Ontario, with Bay Growers and Bamford Family Farms located in the Beaver Valley. Combined with Fresh Advancements, Freshline Foods, and Bamford Produce, we are equipped to help with most, if not all, one’s fresh produce needs.

In our continuous effort to provide safe products to our customers, we strive to improve existing programs by reviewing our food safety management programs and requesting auditing companies to evaluate our programs and practices.
